About us

The Life Developemtn Organziation is a non-profit organization supporting sustainable development in Myanmar. The organization was established in October, 2018 and obtained registration with the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) as non-profit company working for social activities withour accommodation in August 2025. Life is committed to support local communities through research, training and consultacny services for their long-term development to become self-reliance communities. The organization "Life" was formed by a group of professionals with over 20 years experience in the field of development, humanitarian and value chains. Since 2018, Life has contributed for capacity enhancement efforts in a local organizations across Kachin, Northern Shan, Kayin States, Tanintharyi, Magwe, Mandalay and Yangon regioins. Currently the members of Board of Directors (BoDs) are guilding the organization's strategic direction.     

ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အကြောင်း

Life ဖွံ့ဖြိုးရေးအဖွဲ့သည် ဒေသခံလူထုအဖွဲ့များ၏ ရေရှည်ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုနှင့် မိမိကိုယ်ကို အားကိုးမှုကို မြှင့်တင်ရန်အတွက် သုတေသန၊ လေ့ကျင့်သင်ကြားရေးနှင့် အတိုင်ပင်ခံ ဝန်ဆောင်မှုများမှတဆင့် ဒေသခံလူထုအား ပံ့ပိုးပေးသည့် အကျိုးအမြတ်မယူသော အဖွဲ့အစည်းတစ်ခု ဖြစ်သည်။ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးရေး၊ လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားကူညီမှုနှင့် တန်ဖိုးကွင်းဆက် ကဏ္ဍများတွင် အတွေ့အကြုံ အနှစ် ၂၀ ကျော်ရှိသော ကျွမ်းကျင်ပညာရှင်များမှ ၂၀၁၈ ခုနှစ်တွင် စတင် တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ပြီး လိုက်ဖ်(Life)အဖွဲ့ သည် ကချင်ပြည်နယ်၊ ရှမ်းပြည်နယ်မြောက်ပိုင်း၊ ကရင်ပြည်နယ်၊ တနင်္သာရီတိုင်း၊ မကွေးတိုင်း၊ မန္တလေးတိုင်းနှင့် ရန်ကုန်တိုင်း ဒေသကြီးကဲ့သို့သောနေရာဒေသများတွင် ဒေသခံအဖွဲ့အစည်းများ၏ စွမ်းဆောင်ရည်ကို တည်ဆောက်ရန် အာရုံစိုက်ထားသည်။ အဖွဲ့အစည်းတွင် ဒါရိုက်တာဘုတ်အဖွဲ့ဝင်များနှင့်အကြံပေးအဖွဲ့ တစ်ခုရှိပါသည်။ ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်တွင် Life သည် ဒေသဆိုင်ရာ နည်းပညာကျွမ်းကျင်သူများအဖွဲ့အနေဖြင့်  အကျိုးအမြတ်မယူသော လူမှုရေးလုပ်ငန်း အဖွဲ့အစည်းတစ်ခုအဖြစ် DICA တွင် တရားဝင်မှတ်ပုံတင်ခဲ့သည်။

Our Board of Directors

Thidar Tun

She is a Trainer for Protection of Children, Women Rights, GBV in development and humanitarian sector and worked as a Program Manager at KWEG, Team Coordinator at World Vision. Thida Tun is particularly passionate about the Thandaunggyi Community Development in Kayin state where she has been involved since March 2018.

Nwe Lin Tin

She is qualified as a Area Development Program Team Leader at World Vision Myanmar and have more than 20 years experiences in  the development and humanitarian sector. She has worked in the development industry since 2001. She  has using these experiences to bring further knowledge to the community development in Myanmar.

 

Than Hlaing Oo

Than Hlaing Oo has a  development and humanitarian background and is a CBT, CST, AAP, PSEA, OD trainer and researcher. His interest in rural and community development led to positions in international and local NGOs where he has worked with rural communities to create small businesses and improve the local economy.

 

Ye Win Tun

He has been involved in the development and humanitarian industry since 2000. Originating from Mandalay, Ye Win Tun worked in the development and humanitarian sector as a Senior Manager at Habitat for Humanity, Operations Manager, HR and Administrative Manager, and Program Area Manager at World Concern, and as Area Development Program Manager and Commodities Management Officer at World Vision.

Saw Acc Tu

He worked as a Head of Finance at MHAA. Saw Acc Tu worked at World Vision for more than 10 years for financial services in the development and humanitarian sector since 1998. He has using these experiences to support his financial knowledge to Church-based organizations and CSOs throughout Myanmar.

Moe Thu

He worked as a Humanitarian and Emergency Director at World Vision Myanmar and as a visiting lecture at MIT for human resource development in the development and humanitarian sector. He has worked in the development industry since 1998. He has using these experiences to bring further knowledge to stu dents of MIT in Myanmar.

Naw Mar Thaw

She holds a M.A. in Political Studies and a degree in BSc in Physics. She has worked for many years as a team leader and now works as protection technical advisor for World Vision.

Khaing Khaing Tun

She is an advisor with many years of experience in community development. She has worked as a Chauk Township Team Leader at World Vision.
