Life Development Organization is a Myanmar nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable and marginalized communities to live with dignity and resilience.

Established in 2018, Life provides humanitarian, development, and technical support services that strengthen local capacities, promote collaboration, and support sustainable community-led solutions. Our work is guided by experienced professionals with more than 20 years of professional experience in community development, humanitarian response, research, training and value chain support.

Since its founding, Life has grown into a trusted local organization working alongside communities, partners, and local stakeholders to build inclusive, resilient, and sustainable societies.

A Message from Our Founder

Building the Pillars of a Resilience Future

When we established the Life Development Organization, we were guided by a simple but powerful belief: every person and every community deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, safety and resilience.

At the heart of Life’s work is our guiding philosophy: Bawa Man Dai — the “Life Pillar.” In our local language, this idea reflects the strong foundation that individuals, families, and communities need to overcome hardship, restore hope, and shape a better future. 

A resilient and harmonious society cannot be built by individuals alone. It grows when communities are supported, local capacities are strengthened, and people work together with compassion, trust, and shared responsibility.

Our journey in development has shown us that true empowerment is not only about responding to immediate needs. It is about working alongside vulnerable and marginalized communities, strengthening local systems and skills, and supporting sustainable livelihoods so communities can lead their own development.

Today, Life’s work is dedicated to fostering collaboration and building inclusive, resilient, and sustainable communities. Our goal is to help every community we serve strengthen its own “Life Pillar” and move toward a more dignified and socially harmonious future.

ကြံ့ကြံ့ခံနိုင်စွမ်းရှိသောအနာဂတ် မဏ္ဍိုင်များ တည်ဆောက်ခြင်း

ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ လိုက်ဖ်ဖွံ့ဖြိုးရေးအသင်းကို တည်ထောင်တဲ့အချိန်မှာ "လူတိုင်း၊ ရပ်ရွာလူထုအဖွဲ့တိုင်းသည် ဂုဏ်သိက္ခာ၊ ဘေးကင်းလုံခြုံမှုနှင့် ကြံ့ကြံ့ခံနိုင်စွမ်းတို့ဖြင့်နေထိုင်အသက်ရှင်ရန် အခွင့်အရေးနှင့် ထိုက်တန်ပါတယ်"ဆိုတဲ့ ရိုးရှင်းပေမယ့်     ခိုင်မာတဲ့ာယုံကြည်ချက်တစ်ခုကို လိုက်နာခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ 

လိုက်ဖ်အဖွဲ့လုပ်ငန်းရဲ့ ဗဟိုချက်မှာ "ဘဝမဏ္ဍိုင်"ဆိုတဲ့စကားဟာ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ရဲ့လမ်းညွှန်ဒဿန ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ရဲ့ ဒေသခံဘာသာစကားမှာ ဤအယူအဆဟာ လူတစ်ဦးချင်း၊ မိသားစုတွေနဲ့ ရပ်ရွာလူထုအဖွဲ့တွေဟာ အခက်အခဲတွေကိုကျော်လွှားဖို့၊ မျှော်လင့်ချက်တွေ ပြန်လည်ရရှိဖို့နဲ့ ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်တဲ့အနာဂတ်ကို ပုံဖော်ဖို့ လိုအပ်တဲ့ ခိုင်မာတဲ့အခြေခံအုတ်မြစ်ကို ထင်ဟပ်စေပါတယ်။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အတွက်၊ အဲဒီအရာက စိန်ခေါ်မှုများကို ကျော်လွှားပြီး ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ အနာဂတ်ကို တည်ဆောက်ဖို့ လူအများနဲ့ ရပ်ရွာလူထုအဖွဲ့တွေလိုအပ်တဲ့ ခိုင်မာတဲ့ အခြေခံအုတ်မြစ်တွေကို ကိုယ်စားပြုပါတယ်။

ကြံ့ကြံ့ခံနိုင်စွမ်းရှိပြီး လူမှုသဟဇာတရှိတဲ့ လူ့အဖွဲ့အစည်းတစ်ခုကို တစ်ဦးချင်း တည်ဆောက်လို့ မရနိုင်ပါဘူး။ ရပ်ရွာလူထုအဖွဲ့တွေကို ပံ့ပိုးပေးတဲ့အခါ၊ ဒေသတွင်းစွမ်းဆောင်ရည်တွေ အားကောင်းလာတဲ့အခါ၊ လူအများက ကရုဏာတရား၊ ယုံကြည်မှုနဲ့ မျှဝေတာဝန်ယူမှုတွေနဲ့ အတူတကွလုပ်ဆောင်တဲ့အခါတွေမှာ အဲဒီ ကြံ့ကြံ့ခံနိုင်စွမ်းရှိပြီး လူမှုသဟဇာတရှိတဲ့ လူ့အဖွဲ့အစည်းတစ်ခုက ရှင်သန်ကြီးထွားလာပါတယ်။

ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ရဲ့ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးရေးခရီးကနေ စစ်မှန်တဲ့လုပ်ပိုင်ခွင့်အာဏာပေးမှုဟာ ချက်ချင်းလိုအပ်ချက်တွေးကို တုံ့ပြန်ရုံသာမကကြောင်း ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကို ပြသခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အဲဒီအရာက ထိခိုက်လွယ်တဲ့၊ ဘေးဖယ်ခံထားရတဲ့ ရပ်ရွာလူထုအဖွဲ့တွေနဲ့ အတူလုပ်ဆောင်တာ၊ ဒေသန္တရစနစ်တွေနဲ့ ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုတွေ အားကောင်းလာစေတာနဲ့ ရေရှည်တည် တံ့တဲ့ အသက်မွေးဝမ်းကျောင်းလုပ်ငန်းတွေကို ပံ့ပိုးပေးတာတွေကြောင့် ရပ်ရွာလူထုအဖွဲ့တွေ သူတို့ရဲ့ကိုယ်ပိုင်ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုကို ဦးဆောင်နိုင်စေတာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

လက်ရှိအနေနဲ့မှာတော့ လိုက်ဖ်အဖွဲ့ရဲ့အလုပ်ဟာ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုကို မြှင့်တင်ဖို့နဲ့ အားလုံးပါဝင်နိုင်တဲ့၊ ကြံ့ကြံ့ခံနိုင်စွမ်းရှိတဲ့၊ ရေရှည်တည်တံ့တဲ့ ရပ်ရွာလူထုအဖွဲ့ တွေကို တည်ဆောက်ဖို့အတွက် ရည်ရွယ်ပါတယ်။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ရဲ့ရည်မှန်းချက်ပန်းတိုင်ကတော့  ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ဝန်ဆောင်မှုပေးနေတဲ့ ရပ်ရွာလူထုအဖွဲ့တိုင်းရဲ့ ကိုယ်ပိုင် “ဘဝမဏ္ဍိုင်”ကို အားကောင်းစေဖို့ဖြစ်ပြီး ပိုမိုဂုဏ်သိက္ခာရှိတဲ့၊ လူမှုရေးအရသဟဇာတရှိတဲ့ အနာဂတ်ဆီကို ဦးတည်သွားဖို့ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဒီခရီးစဉ်မှာ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့နဲ့အတူ ရပ်တည်ပေးတဲ့အတွက် ကျေးဇူးတင်ပါတယ်။

• လူ့ဂုဏ်သိက္ခာ - ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် လူတိုင်းကို တရားမျှတမှု၊ လေးစားမှု၊ ခွဲခြားမှုမရှိခြင်းတို့ဖြင့် ဆက်ဆံပါသည်။

• ထိခိုက်လွယ်သူများကို ပံ့ပိုးကူညီခြင်း- ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ထိခိုက်အလွယ်ဆုံးသူများ၏ ဘဝများကို မြှင့်တင်ရန်နှင့် ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်စေရန် ကြိုးပမ်းပါသည်။

• ဒေသတွင်း ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှု - ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ဒေသတွင်း စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းများ၊ စနစ်များ၊ ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုများ၊ တာဝန်ယူမှုရှိသော လူထုဦးဆောင်သော အလေ့အကျင့်များနှင့် ဖြေရှင်းချက်များကို အားကောင်းစေပါသည်။
